Department: Strategy & Corporate Development
Location: Hybrid – GTA, Ontario, Canada
Reports to: CEO
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of corporate strategy, identifying growth opportunities and business model innovations.
- Oversee competitive intelligence and market analysis to anticipate industry trends and inform decision-making.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships, including financial institutions, technology providers, and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure business objectives align with long-term strategic goals.
- Drive HorizonFlare’s expansion into new financial services verticals, ensuring regulatory and operational readiness.
- Present strategic recommendations and performance insights to the executive team and board members.
- Lead strategic investment decisions, including M&A opportunities and funding strategies.
Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, or financial services.
- Proven track record of executing large-scale strategic initiatives and partnerships.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Expertise in financial services, fintech, or digital banking industries preferred.
